Senior Regional Account Manager, Haematology

Responsibilities

• Promote the safe and effective use of Vertex's Hemoglobinopathy Gene Therapy to key stakeholders in the assigned territory.
• Drive patient identification and referrals to Authorized Treatment Centres (ATCs).
• Develop and execute insight-driven, account-level business plans to achieve annual goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical, and commercial field force teams.
• Build and maintain strong networks between referral centres and ATCs to optimize the patient journey.
• Generate strategic insights from healthcare professionals and patient stakeholders to improve market performance.
• Stay current on the Hemoglobinopathy and Gene Therapy landscape, including reimbursement and treatment pathways.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field of study.
• Significant sales experience in orphan drugs or rare disease indications.
• Proven track record of delivering against commercial targets.
• Experience working with hospital personnel and specialty care markets.
• Knowledge of Hematology, Hemoglobinopathies, or cell/genetic therapies.
• Previous experience participating in a product launch.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Full German driving license.
• Ability to travel approximately 80% within the assigned territory.
