Senior Regional Account Manager, Haematology

Responsibilities

• Promote and support patient referrals to Authorized Treatment Centers for Vertex’s new Hemoglobinopathy Gene Therapy.
• Develop and execute insight-driven account level business plans to achieve annual business goals.
• Educate key stakeholders on the benefits, safety, and long-term value of the medicine.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical, and commercial field force teams.
• Drive best practice sharing and innovative projects to optimize the patient journey.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the Hemoglobinopathy and Gene Therapy environment, including reimbursement and referral pathways.
• Generate strategic recommendations based on insights gathered from HCP and patient stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field of study.
• Significant sales experience in orphan drugs or rare disease indications with a proven track record.
• Experience working with hospital and office-based personnel in specialty care markets.
• Strong understanding of Hematology, Hemoglobinopathies, or cell/genetic therapy.
• Proven experience with product launches.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Full German driving license.
• Ability to travel approximately 80% within the assigned territory.
