Senior Region Build Technical Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage new AWS region builds globally by collaborating with service, infrastructure, and business development teams
• Design and deliver scalable cloud solutions and new AWS regions
• Partner with Product Teams to design solutions that optimize resource and technology usage
• Develop and manage schedules to ensure the timely launch of new regions
• Assess risks, anticipate technical issues, and make difficult trade-off decisions to balance business needs with technical constraints
• Represent program status to senior leadership and drive operational excellence

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience
• 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
• 5+ years of technical program management experience working directly with software engineering teams
• Experience managing cross-functional programs, building processes, and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience covering scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management
• Experience building sustainable processes and managing complex projects across cross-functional teams
