About the role
Responsibilities
- Design software and transform user needs into technical system designs
- Develop, code, and perform unit testing for RedPrairie platforms
- Debug and maintain programs throughout the development lifecycle
- Create test plans, test files, and scripts for integration testing
- Provide on-call and after-hours support for new applications
- Collaborate with Functional/Systems Analysts to document technical designs
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 2 to 5 years of relevant programming experience
- Expertise in RedPrairie platforms, MOCA, Java, and C
- Solid understanding and working knowledge of SQL
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of transportation and warehouse industries
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux OS
- Jasper Report knowledge
- Experience in .Net and PL/SQL
- Experience in iSeries development
