About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead asset-level strategy and execution for a portfolio of value-add and development investments across Europe.
- Drive business plan implementation, including leasing, capital improvements, redevelopment, and disposition strategies.
- Manage relationships with joint venture (JV) partners, developers, and operating partners.
- Oversee development budgets, construction progress, cost controls, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor asset performance against underwriting and track KPIs, including social and environmental impact metrics.
- Perform detailed financial analysis, including cash flow, IRR, and equity multiples.
- Support the investment team with underwriting, technical due diligence, and asset acquisitions.
- Prepare internal investment memos, valuation updates, and performance reports for senior management and investors.
Requirements
- Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in value-add real estate asset management, specifically focusing on development projects.
- Proven experience managing joint ventures and working with external development partners.
- Deep understanding of development processes and construction management.
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills with high proficiency in Excel.
- Strong knowledge of real estate markets, leasing dynamics, and capital structures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a private equity real estate fund or institutional investment manager.
- Exposure to multiple asset classes, particularly healthcare, residential, or education sectors.
- A track record of successfully executing complex value-add or development business plans.
- Pan-European experience and proficiency in European languages.
