About the Company

Radiant is an El Segundo, CA-based startup building the world’s first mass-produced, portable nuclear microreactors. The company’s first reactor, Kaleidos, is a 1-megawatt, fail-safe microreactor designed to provide critical power to hospitals, data centers, and remote sites.

Responsibilities

• Qualify as an operator to gain firsthand experience and ensure procedures align with real-world execution
• Collaborate with engineers to improve operator interfaces, procedural workflows, and software tools
• Ensure compliance with DOE and NRC standards for all procedural documentation

Requirements

• 6-7+ years of professional engineering experience in system design, analysis, or testing
• Background in highly regulated industries such as nuclear, aerospace, or aviation
• Proficiency in managing complex hardware and software processes for testing and operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a nuclear operator or licensed Senior Reactor Operator
• Proficiency in Python and UNIX for procedure testing within simulator environments
• Experience with human factors engineering or operational interface design
