Senior React Native/Expo Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect the mobile clinical experience including deep integrations with Apple HealthKit and Google Health Connect
• Leverage the Expo ecosystem and EAS to manage build pipelines and push over-the-air updates
• Design robust offline-first data synchronization and local caching strategies
• Champion mobile UX by optimizing frame rates, navigation, and accessibility
• Integrate AI capabilities into mobile interfaces to automate clinical operations
• Raise the engineering bar through architectural decisions and rigorous code reviews

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of frontend engineering experience
• Deep specialization in React Native and Expo
• Experience building and maintaining complex, data-heavy mobile applications in production
• Expertise in managing EAS builds and integrating native modules
• Proficiency with React Native, Expo, and TypeScript
• Experience using AI agentic tools to accelerate development
• Ability to work onsite in San Francisco 5 days a week

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java)
• Proven track record of setting technical direction for Staff-level roles
