Senior R&D Staff Chemist - E-Coating

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects and make decisions regarding the assessment, development, and reformulation of E-Coating products.
• Plan and execute experiments to ensure product performance, quality, and economic advantage.
• Solve complex technical problems related to products, processes, chemicals, raw materials, and substrates.
• Develop methods of moderate complexity to provide timely and accurate solutions to company challenges.
• Investigate coating failure complaints and perform necessary analyses to identify root causes.
• Adhere to all company safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• 5+ years of formulation experience specifically within the coatings industry.
• Deep expertise in E-Coating technologies.
• Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry and SEM/EDX instrumentation, including their capabilities and limitations.
• Experience identifying contamination on field samples and recognizing coating failure symptoms via microscopy.
• Proficiency in both Italian and English.
