Senior R&D Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize high-performance embedded software for networked EW applications
• Architect and maintain modern CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment
• Collaborate with hardware, RF, and systems engineers to integrate software with RF subsystems
• Act as a technical liaison for multi-organizational projects and external partners
• Translate signal processing and networking algorithms into efficient C/C++ code
• Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on embedded systems
• Expert proficiency in C/C++ and Python
• Deep understanding of embedded Linux
• Experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Agile methodologies
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 12 months
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

• Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
• Experience with Electronic Warfare (EW), SIGINT, Radar, or Tactical Wireless Communications
• Familiarity with FPGA-based systems and RF hardware control
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices for defense systems
