Requirements
PhD or Master's in Pharmaceutics or related field, 8-10 years DPI development experience, Expertise in NGI, DUSA, and laser diffraction, Experience in particle engineering and scale-up
About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and optimise DPI, MDI & Nebulizer formulations for various inhaler platforms
- Apply particle engineering techniques including micronization, spray drying, and powder blending
- Perform aerodynamic characterisation using NGI and DUSA
- Lead scale-up activities from lab to pilot and commercial manufacturing scale
- Define and optimise critical process parameters using QbD, DoE, and FMEA
- Prepare technology transfer packages and support on-site transfer activities
- Contribute to bioequivalence protocol design for generic DPI products
- Provide technical guidance to junior researchers
Requirements
- PhD or Master's degree in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field
- 8–10 years of hands-on experience in DPI development within the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven formulation experience across capsule, blister, reservoir, and dual DPI formats
- Hands-on expertise with NGI, DUSA, and laser diffraction
- Experience with particle engineering, scale-up, and process validation
- Familiarity with QbD, DoE, and FMEA-based risk management
