Senior R&D Project Manager - New Product Development

Responsibilities

• Translate customer and user needs into technical requirements for innovative drug delivery systems
• Design and develop complex system architectures, ensuring robustness and client acceptability
• Apply Design For Six Sigma (DFSS) principles and internal product development best practices
• Lead R&D workstreams by defining development plans, budgets, resources, and schedules
• Act as a technical expert and project manager, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing technical risks
• Oversee design reviews and ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory standards and Design Control
• Proactively contribute to the protection and strategy of company intellectual property

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical, Materials, or Biomedical Engineering
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in product development within regulated industrial environments
• Proven experience in project management, including planning, resource allocation, and tracking
• Strong knowledge of DFSS methodologies and statistical quality management
• Experience working with ISO 13485 standards and medical device regulations
• Demonstrated experience in intellectual property, including patent contributions
• Fluency in English is essential for working in an international context
