Senior R&D Food Scientist

Responsibilities

• Drive new product design, formulation, and development
• Ensure product formulations and specifications meet cost, quality, and consistency requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve process, packaging, efficiency, and productivity
• Support the sales team by participating in key customer calls
• Serve as a technical contact and resource for clients
• Assist with the hiring, training, and development of technical staff
• Ensure compliance with USDA regulations
• Provide technical support to the Quality Team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science required
• Prior experience in food formulation and processing
• Experience with meat focus is desired
• Strong verbal and written English skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to analyze technical procedures and government regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Food Science
