Senior Radiation Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform the full range of RCT support activities and serve as the primary point of contact for planning and resource coordination
• Act as an authorized subject matter expert for the development of radiological work control packages (RWCPs)
• Ensure radiological controls are correctly applied for high-hazard radiological work
• Coordinate work area resources to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Fulfill customer radiation protection requests while following established RP-1 priorities
• Resolve problems and anticipate unforeseen issues in dynamic conditions
• Provide technical leadership, review, and demonstrate excellence in safety and compliance

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• United States citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued clearance
