Senior Radar System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate requirements for communication, sensor, electronic warfare, and other electromagnetic systems
• Create architectures to integrate multiple systems into higher-level platforms
• Lead trade studies, modeling, and simulation to optimize design and predict system performance
• Execute critical tests to validate design performance against requirements
• Manage supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance
• Support project management by coordinating work statements, budgets, and schedules
• Lead the development of major sections of large-scale proposals for new business

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
• 10+ years of experience in avionics integration, electronics systems, or RF systems
• 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional or cross-organizational teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as an equipment manager for military or civil aerospace electronics/avionics systems
• Experience with Radar systems (RF or Electro-optical) or Radar integration
• Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
• Experience working directly with USG and DoD customers and regulators
• Strong skills in eliciting, writing, managing, and verifying requirements
