Senior R2R Accountant

Responsibilities

• Supervise, guide, and support a small team of 3-4 Accountants to ensure work quality and task prioritization
• Maintain and review general ledger entries and perform advanced balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany and fixed assets
• Ensure strict compliance with IFRS standards and internal controls
• Drive timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Manage reconciliation processes and maintain documentation for audit readiness
• Identify, analyze, and resolve complex accounting discrepancies
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and responses
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities to promote best practices

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Senior Accountant in a GBS, BSSC, or international corporate environment
• Fluent English communication skills
• Strong experience working with ERP systems
• Experience with internal controls and Blackline or similar reconciliation tools is a plus
• Valid driving license and possession of a personal vehicle
• Ability to travel approximately 20% to headquarters in Germany or Switzerland
