About the role
Responsibilities
- Build quantum computers and quantum systems for existing and next-generation platforms
- Work cross-functionally with Science, Hardware Engineering, and Software Engineering teams
- Solve complex problems independently within a fast-paced startup environment
Requirements
- Graduate degree in Physics, Engineering, or related fields (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a lab environment
- Experience with free space optics, lasers, RF systems, holography, or UHV systems
- Proficiency in Python and Linux
- Experience with data acquisition systems and data analysis techniques
- Proficiency with CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Quantum Physics or Quantum Computing
- Experience in an enterprise engineering or R&D environment
