Senior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify commercial and contractual risks
• Prepare and finalize contract agreements, RFPs, ITTs, addenda, and clarifications
• Conduct cost estimation, commercial analysis, and review subcontractor/supplier quotations
• Assess contractual risks and ensure compliance with company policies and client procedures
• Coordinate with engineering, design, finance, and legal teams for tender submissions
• Participate in pre-tender meetings, clarifications, and negotiations with clients and consultants
• Support value engineering initiatives to optimize design and cost efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
• Minimum of 15 years in contract and commercial management within the construction industry
• At least 5 years of experience working on Ashghal infrastructure projects
• Proven track record in managing FIDIC-based contracts and handling claims and disputes
• In-depth knowledge of Qatari construction laws and regulations
• Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong negotiation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MMUP (Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning) certification
