Senior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Manage pre and post contract administration for various contract types, including re-measure and lump sum.
• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities, maintain budgets, estimates, cash flow forecasts, and cost reports.
• Prepare letters of award and contracts for new projects in coordination with consultants and contractors.
• Manage variation orders and verify interim applications for payment.
• Oversee project close-out procedures, including taking over certificates, release of retention, and final accounts.
• Review, negotiate, and prepare claim settlements and contractual responses.
• Conduct tender analysis and recommend suitable contractors for projects.
• Perform site visits and prepare detailed reports as directed by the Project Manager.
• Estimate costs for new-build, fit-out, renovation, and refurbishment projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, specifically with villas and buildings.
• Proven experience in cost management, contract administration, and tendering within the consultant, construction, or real estate sectors.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts.
• Proficiency in cost-estimating software and tools.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and attention-to-detail skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• MRICS certification is highly advantageous.
