Senior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Conduct tendering exercises with potential bidders and provide bid analysis and award recommendations
• Prepare budgets, BOQs, and cost estimates during the design phase
• Manage tender processes for EPC contractors, including RFP preparation and EOI/PQ management
• Oversee site quantity surveying work, project progress reports, and construction performance at the yard
• Review weekly field reports to identify concerns and implement mitigation efforts for accurate field progress
• Verify contractor quantity trackers, progress reports, and submitted progress assessments against Rules of Credit
• Maintain and update QS processes for accurate field data collection and performance measurement
• Evaluate construction contractor change orders and align scope with budgeted hours
• Ensure all activities comply with company specifications and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Construction Management
• At least 8 years of experience in a Senior QS role within the relevant industry
• Experience with Lump Sum, Reimbursable, and Unit Rate contracts
• Strong understanding of construction disciplines including civil, structural, piping, electrical, and mechanical
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Access for data analysis and reporting
• Experience with heavy equipment operations and safety requirements
• Ability to read and communicate contract requirements, construction drawings, and EHS policies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Indonesia Total Station survey equipment
• Experience with safety requirements regarding commercial explosive materials in pipeline excavation
