Senior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Intermediate Quantity Surveyors to ensure effective cost management and control of spend
• Ensure payments are compliant with contracting reimbursement principles, including schedules of rates and bills of quantity
• Monitor anticipated final project costs and provide cost management advice to Claims, Contract Management, and Project Management teams
• Oversee the management of variations, monthly cashflow forecasting, retention, and liquidated damages
• Develop and maintain cost management strategies, processes, and policies for the Contracting Entity
• Review monthly valuations for post-contract costs, variation orders, and final accounts
• Foster relationships with the supply chain, including contractors, consultants, and suppliers

Requirements

• 15+ years of professional experience
• At least 3+ years of experience within the aviation or transport infrastructure industry
• Proven experience delivering technically complex and high-value infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of construction contract commercial documents, drawings, and specifications
• Experience working in a consultancy environment, client organization, or contractor organization
• Deep knowledge of cost management principles, methods, and standard methods of measurement
