About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare internal commercial reporting and other required reports
- Prepare valuations and applications for payment with supporting documentation
- Prepare cost reports to the client with contractually compliant documentation
- Manage subcontract and material procurement schedules
- Administer subcontractor and supplier accounts from requisition to final accounts
- Undertake contract administration, including change management and register maintenance
- Identify commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering, and change
- Utilize the company costing system
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Quantity Surveyor experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Experience in construction
- Knowledge of standard forms of contract and standard methods of measurement
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
