Senior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial administration for major trade packages throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare, review, and negotiate interim valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts
• Manage subcontractor accounts, payment certifications, and back-charge recovery
• Monitor package performance against budget and identify commercial risks and opportunities
• Support cost forecasting, budgeting, and monthly commercial reporting
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and commercial procedures
• Act as the primary commercial interface with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
• Provide guidance and supervision to Quantity Surveyors and Junior Quantity Surveyors

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of Quantity Surveying experience in large-scale building, civil, or infrastructure projects
• Proven experience managing major trade packages independently
• Strong background in variations, claims, final accounts, and subcontract management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and commercial management systems
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MRICS or equivalent professional accreditation
• Master's Degree in a relevant field
• Experience managing large steel, façade, and complex construction packages
• Previous experience working within the GCC region
