Senior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs to understand project scope
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, infrastructure, MEP, or building projects
• Develop and update BOQs using industry standards
• Prepare RFQs and negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers
• Manage project budgets, cost plans, and cost-to-complete forecasts
• Conduct detailed measurements and prepare interim payment applications
• Identify variations and prepare comprehensive variation orders
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and maintain commercial records
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QS and estimation staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a contracting company
• Strong exposure to both estimation and QS functions
• Proficiency in estimation and QS software such as Candy/CCS, CostX, or Planswift
• Experience in UAE/GCC contracting industry is a strong advantage

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as RICS, MRICS, or FIDIC training
