About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial resources and maximize project gross margins through effective contract placement and control
- Tender, evaluate, and appoint subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
- Measure, value, and agree on work progress to support customer invoicing and supplier payments
- Identify and negotiate contract variations with customers and suppliers
- Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with clients, consultants, and the supply chain
- Support the delivery of projects safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in a quantity surveying role within the construction industry
- Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying (desirable)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using bespoke IT systems
