Senior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets and financial reports
• Conduct cost planning and control throughout the project lifecycle
• Review and negotiate contracts, subcontracts and variations
• Manage procurement processes and evaluate supplier bids
• Prepare interim and final payment applications
• Monitor project progress and forecast final costs
• Identify potential financial risks
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers and contractors
• Mentor junior team members

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Civil Engineering
• Professional accreditation such as RICS or CIOB preferred
• Strong experience in quantity surveying within construction or infrastructure projects
• Experience within nuclear or defence sectors is ideal
• Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods and cost control techniques
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software
• Ability to hold BPSS security clearance (NATO/MISWG passport and 5 years UK residency)
