Senior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pre and post contract management, commercial management, and purchasing services for complex construction and infrastructure projects.
• Improve commercial outcomes and optimize the performance of both the client and contracting organizations.
• Manage pre-contract administration, including tender documentation development and issue.
• Oversee Work Orders and Purchase Orders, including the evaluation and certification of monthly interim valuations.
• Perform commercial audits using CEMAR to ensure actions are closed out within agreed timelines.
• Review key contractual documentation to ensure alignment and recommend improvements.
• Work with broader teams and delivery partners to identify and capture tangible commercial opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in pre and post contract management.
• Working knowledge of the NEC3 contract suite and contract management practices.
• Proficiency in using CEMAR.
• Strong experience using SAP, ideally with certification in SAP ERP business process basics and navigation.
• Ability to work within the specific commercial procedures and constraints of a nuclear environment.
• Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom (sponsorship is not provided).
