Senior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Estimate and control costs for civil engineering projects to ensure structures meet legal and quality standards
• Prepare internal commercial reporting, valuations, and applications for payment
• Prepare cost reports to clients with contractually compliant supporting documentation
• Manage subcontract and material procurement schedules
• Administer subcontractor and supplier accounts, from requisition to final account agreement
• Undertake contract administration, including change management and maintaining associated registers
• Identify commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering, and change

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of Quantity Surveyor experience, ideally with at least 2 years as a Senior Quantity Surveyor
• Proven experience with NEC Option 1
• Proficiency in Change Management, measurement, CVRs, forecasts, and cashflows
• Commercially astute with knowledge of standard forms of contract and measurement methods
• Strong computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
