Senior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Prepare internal commercial reports and necessary business documentation
• Compile valuations and applications for payment with contractually compliant documentation
• Produce cost reports for clients
• Oversee subcontract and material procurement schedules
• Administer subcontractor and supplier accounts, including payment authorization and final accounts
• Manage contract administration, change management, and associated registers
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities through value engineering and change management
• Utilize company costing systems to track and manage project costs
• Manage personnel to support the site commercial function

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying
• At least 2 years of experience at a Senior Quantity Surveyor level
• Essential experience in shafts and tunnelling projects
• Strong understanding of standard forms of contract and measurement methods
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
