About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports while conducting cost planning and control throughout the project lifecycle
  • Review and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and variations to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards
  • Manage procurement processes, evaluate supplier bids, and prepare interim and final payment applications
  • Monitor project progress, forecast final costs, and identify potential financial risks
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors while mentoring junior team members

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying within construction or infrastructure projects
  • Must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country
  • Must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years
  • Ability to obtain BPSS security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • RICS or CIOB professional accreditation
  • Experience working within the nuclear or defence sectors
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software and strong knowledge of construction contracts
