About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and administer NEC3/4 Option C contracts
- Establish and manage entitlement under subcontract terms
- Lead review and valuation of contractor applications for payment
- Manage subcontractor accounts and maintain commercial records
- Liaise and negotiate with customer commercial and project teams
- Investigate and draft contract communications, including Early Warning Notices and Compensation Events
- Provide commercial and contractual risk advice to technical and construction teams
- Monitor and report on commercial and cost aspects of projects
Requirements
- Degree level education
- Experience with main contractor or joint venture environments
- Proven experience administering NEC3/4 contracts (A, C, or E)
- Experience leading contract management activities and evaluating high-value Compensation Events
- Ability to lead project financial monitoring and reporting
- Experience in negotiating and procuring subcontract packages
- Experience managing and developing junior commercial team members
- Must have the right to work in the UK
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CEMAR
- Background in Rail or Infrastructure sectors
- Experience with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health) projects
- Experience in Highways, Construction, Utilities, or Energy sectors
