Senior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor and report on commercial and cost reporting aspects of allocated projects and portfolio of works
• Support programme and project teams to ensure compliance with contract and corporate governance rules
• Lead on commercial review and valuation of contractor applications for payment
• Provide proactive advice and guidance on all change including proposed scope changes
• Produce appropriate commercial correspondence and contractual notices
• Perform contract administration of industry standard and bespoke forms of contract including NEC and ICC terms
• Ensure commercial records are retained and archived properly
• Manage final account settlements
• Support pre-contract procurement of suppliers, main contractors, and consultants

Requirements

• Degree in a related subject or Associate Member of a relevant professional institute with Chartered status
• Knowledge and experience of NEC 3 and/or NEC 4 contracts
• Experience in the Rail sector is preferable
• Experience with Civils, M&E, or Railway infrastructure projects
• Strong communication and prioritization skills
