Senior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of cost and contract management on fit-out projects from initial planning to final account close-out
• Prepare initial budget estimates, cost plans, tender submissions, and detailed BOQs
• Monitor actual costs against budgets and report variances
• Conduct tender evaluations and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors
• Prepare interim payment applications to clients and certify subcontractor payments
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate variations and claims
• Prepare monthly commercial reports including cash flow and profitability summaries
• Support contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual obligations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• 8–12 years of experience in estimation within the fit-out or construction industry
• Proven experience in commercial, hospitality, retail, and corporate interior projects in the UAE/GCC
• Proficiency in estimation tools such as PlanSwift, CCS Candy, or Excel
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, tendering, and variation management
• Understanding of FIDIC and local contract forms
