Senior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of cost and contract management for fit-out projects, from initial planning to final account close-out.
• Prepare initial budget estimates, cost plans, tender submissions, and detailed BOQs.
• Monitor actual costs against budgets and report variances with justifications.
• Conduct tender evaluations and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure best value.
• Prepare interim payment applications to clients and certify subcontractor payment applications.
• Identify, evaluate, and document variations and claims to support commercial entitlements.
• Prepare monthly commercial reports, including cash flow, cost/value reconciliations, and profitability summaries.
• Support contract administration by ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8–12 years of estimation experience within the fit-out or construction industry.
• Proven experience in hospitality, retail, or corporate interior projects within the UAE/GCC region.
• Proficiency in estimation tools such as PlanSwift, CCS Candy, or advanced Excel.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, tendering, and post-contract cost control.
• Solid understanding of FIDIC and local contract forms.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.
