About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain fair valuation models across various asset classes
  • Conduct research to validate and enhance valuation methodologies
  • Develop expertise in alternative investment structures and illiquid assets
  • Support pricing teams with the valuation of complex securities
  • Create validation models for quoted and hard-to-price securities
  • Support audits by explaining models and underlying assumptions
  • Prepare detailed reports for valuation committees and boards
  • Collaborate on various analyses, reviews, and reporting initiatives
  • Evaluate third-party vendors and valuation practices
  • Engage with stakeholders and participate in client discussions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, or a related field
  • 4–7 years of relevant industry experience
  • Proficiency in Excel and VBA
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and instruments
  • Experience with quantitative techniques and valuation models
  • Understanding of derivatives, fixed income, and structured products
  • Familiarity with valuation models such as Black-Scholes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree such as an MBA or equivalent
  • Professional certifications including CFA, FRM, or CAIA
