Senior Quantitative Research Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive enhancement of MIO systematic investing capabilities and backtesting tools
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers to optimize quantitative investment strategies
• Establish rigorous testing, validation, and risk management protocols
• Support PMs and CIO using Monte Carlo simulations, factor modeling, and portfolio construction techniques
• Guide and mentor research analysts to elevate team quant and coding capabilities
• Oversee investment analysts' coding practices and conduct codebase reviews

Requirements

• 8-12 years of professional experience as a quantitative researcher and manager
• PhD in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science) strongly preferred
• Experience building systematic investment capabilities and backtesting infrastructure
• Mastery of advanced statistical modeling, derivatives pricing, and risk modeling
• Proficiency in modern data science stacks including NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
• Proficiency with AI tools such as Cursor, GPT, and Claude
• Strong communication skills to bridge technical depth with business insights
