Senior Quantitative Developer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain real-time data pipelines that ingest market events with high reliability and low latency
• Investigate and resolve root causes of data gaps, delivery delays, and schema breaks
• Ship incremental improvements to ingestion and delivery infrastructure on a continuous basis
• Monitor pipeline health, define meaningful alerts, and reduce operational overhead
• Partner with analysts and engineers to improve the quality and shape of downstream data
• Document systems clearly for seamless team context-switching

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and operating production data pipelines
• Strong proficiency in Python or similar languages for pipeline development and tooling
• Hands-on experience with stream processing systems like Kafka, Flink, or Kinesis
• Proven track record of debugging complex data reliability issues
• Experience with cloud data infrastructure (AWS or GCP)
• Ability to own the full lifecycle of systems from design through maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial markets, crypto infrastructure, or latency-sensitive trading environments
• Familiarity with blockchain event indexing or on-chain data ingestion
• Experience building data contracts and schema registries
