About the Company

BMLL is the leading independent provider of harmonised Level 3, 2 and 1 historical data and analytics across global equities, ETFs, futures and US equity options. BMLL was acquired in 2025 by Nordic Capital, alongside minority shareholder Optiver.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the BMLL product suite to support marketing and sales to drive business growth
  • Work closely with the go-to-market team to promote products and gather customer feedback
  • Assist in technical prototyping for external partners and clients using a petabyte-scale data lake
  • Support the product team in the development and management of the product roadmap
  • Translate client business needs into actionable, data-driven solutions
  • Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for code and methodologies

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of quantitative analysis experience
  • MSc in a quantitative discipline (STEM or Economics)
  • Proficiency in Python and libraries such as NumPy, pandas, Polars, and scikit-learn
  • Minimum 3 years experience working with Futures/Options order book market data
  • Experience working with large datasets
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with other OOP languages
  • Experience with Snowflake, SQL, or other database management systems
  • Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience working on the Buy Side
