Senior Quant Researcher

Responsibilities

• Process and analyse large datasets to detect hidden signals and patterns to predict future events
• Perform quantitative analysis and modelling to improve and develop trading strategies
• Manage the full research lifecycle from inception and coding to testing and production release
• Work independently and collaborate closely with traders and IT staff

Requirements

• Masters or PhD in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Signal Processing, Machine Learning, etc.)
• 5+ years of experience in real-world data analysis within a research environment
• 3+ years of financial markets experience working directly with trading desks
• Proficiency in C++ and Python
• Understanding of software development workflows
• Strong communication skills and English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using machine learning to forecast sequence or time series data
• Experience in high frequency Delta 1 trading (equities or futures)
• Experience working with low latency, real-time systems
