Senior Quant Developer Equities/FX

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance trading platforms and risk management systems for Equities and FX.
• Collaborate with traders, strategists, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable technological solutions.
• Implement new features and enhancements to improve platform performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Drive innovation by staying updated on technological advancements and industry trends in quantitative finance.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including compliance and IT, to address system issues and implement robust solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert to guide technical direction and mentor less experienced specialists.

Requirements

• Considerable knowledge of mathematical finance and derivative pricing models (e.g., Local Volatility, Stochastic Volatility).
• Strong understanding of numerical methods including Monte-Carlo, variance reduction, and numerical integration.
• Extensive experience with Python 3+ and core data science libraries including Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
• Proven ability to translate model and governance requirements into robust engineering solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proficiency in C++ or C# programming.
• Experience working directly with quantitative developers and business stakeholders in an investment banking environment.
