Senior Quality Test Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated and performance testing to deliver high-quality software products and services on time and according to specifications.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and QA staff to plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities.
• Ensure testing aligns with quality standards by conducting project reviews and implementing quality control procedures.
• Report testing results, research root causes of issues, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Identify opportunities to enhance testing capabilities by researching new tools and applying automation solutions.
• Investigate and resolve performance issues in partnership with architects, developers, and infrastructure teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for test planning, defect tracking, and overall QA processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of QA Test Engineering experience.
• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber BDD.
• Strong knowledge of API testing using Postman and experience with GitHub pipelines.
• Proven ability to develop and execute both automated and performance testing.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills with strong research abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the Karate Test Automation Framework.
