About the role
Responsibilities
- Schedule, plan, and lead internal Quality Management System (QMS) audits for process compliance and AS9100 standard adherence
- Analyze quality incidences, audit findings, and customer issues to determine product risks and implement mitigation plans
- Advise senior leadership on QMS improvements, overall health, and streamlining opportunities
- Lead and provide oversight of the BGS Quality Risk Management process to mitigate risks across the network
- Develop metrics, executive reports, and presentations for leadership
- Represent the company on industry working groups to develop standards for Quality and Safety Management Systems
- Support cross-functional coordination between BGS functions, legal, and regulatory organizations
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- 1+ years of experience working with Safety Management Systems (SMS)
- 3+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams
- 3+ years of experience in data collection, synthesis, and analysis to develop recommendations
- 1+ years of experience developing and delivering presentations to executive leadership
- Ability to travel 25% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience with Quality Standards such as AS9100, AS9110, or AS9120
- Experience working with regulatory agencies such as the FAA, EASA, or other national authorities
