Senior Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Supplier Quality Surveillance (SQS) Inspectors across multiple markets and projects.
• Recruit, hire, train, and mentor district and project quality control personnel.
• Coordinate quality control staffing needs and assign qualified personnel to support project supplier quality surveillance plans.
• Assist project teams with quality department setup, pre-job planning, and identifying Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Create project-specific checklists for source inspections and witness tests.
• Oversee code compliance for work falling under the ASME Quality Control Manual.
• Support and lead the disposition of shop findings by collaborating with suppliers and project teams.
• Ensure all project Quality Records and ASME paperwork are completed and submitted properly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Welding, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management/Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience developing and implementing construction or procurement quality management programs in Infrastructure, EPC, OGC, or Power industries.
• Deep knowledge of ASME Codes and API, NACE, and ASTM Standards.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes for power, industrial, and oil and gas equipment (e.g., valves, pumps, compressors, structural steel).
• Experience reviewing supplier quality documents, including welding procedure specifications, coating procedures, and NDE procedures.
• Ability to travel up to 90% domestically and internationally to perform inspections, witness tests, and audits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications from AWS, CWB, API, ACI, ICBO, ASNT, or NACE.
