Senior Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality team and program for energy construction projects in assigned locations
• Generate project quality plans, inspection and test plans, and procedures
• Work with Construction Supervisors, Schedulers, and Planners to implement the project quality system
• Ensure work adheres to technical requirements, drawings, specifications, and industry standards
• Align quality control objectives with construction procedures to minimize cost and ensure reliability
• Confer with owners, contractors, and design professionals to resolve work procedures and construction problems
• Issue notices of non-conformance and stop-work orders when necessary
• Manage staff by determining staffing requirements, interviewing, hiring, and training new employees
• Analyze operations to evaluate performance and recommend modifications to quality standards

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in a related field
• 10+ years of experience in Quality Management within civil construction, oil and gas, or power sectors
• Proven background as a QA/QC Inspector on large-scope projects
• Significant experience managing a team of quality inspectors
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel and relocate as business requires
• Ability to access all points of a construction site in various climates and environments
