Senior Quality Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving inspection of incoming raw materials and finished goods
• Conduct precision dimensional and visual inspections using hand tools and metrology equipment
• Review and inspect test setups, fixtures, and outcomes for conformance
• Inspect in-process and final assemblies for fit and function
• Maintain accurate quality records and support root cause/corrective action processes
• Assist in developing inspection procedures and training materials

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of direct manufacturing inspection experience
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and height gauges
• Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
• Ability to work long hours and weekends as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with visual weld inspection (AWS)
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or NQA-1
• Experience with CMM or advanced metrology tools
• Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods
• Experience with Manufacturing Enterprise Software (MES)
• Experience with leak checks and vacuum checks
