Senior Quality & Food Safety Site Program Leader

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert and Lead for FSP, FDP, and HACCP programs
• Manage risk analysis, management, mitigation, and root cause analysis for deviations and non-conformances
• Act as the internal and external audit lead for the Madison manufacturing site
• Act as the primary liaison between operational and quality teams to ensure cGMP compliance, hygienic design, and sanitation effectiveness
• Oversee allergen control, environmental monitoring, and food defense strategies
• Mentor less senior Quality Assurance specialists

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, dairy science, biotechnology, engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in regulated food industry environments (e.g., dairy and dietary supplements)
• Proven experience authoring and maintaining FSP, FDP, HACCP, and Risk Management plans
• PCQI certification for human food
• Expert understanding of food microbiology, chemistry, and engineering principles
• Working knowledge of FDA regulations (21CFR 117 and 21CFR 121) and GFSI-recognized schemes such as FSSC 22000, SQF, or BRC
