Senior Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute quality control activities including IQC, IPQC, EOL inspection, and PDI
• Lead structured problem-solving using 8D, 5 Why’s, and Fishbone diagrams
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Develop and maintain Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, and PFMEA
• Support APQP activities and PPAP documentation
• Support supplier quality through inspections, audits, and SCAR follow-up
• Analyze quality data such as defect rates, PPM, and scrap/rework metrics
• Support internal and external audits including IATF 16949 and ISO 9001
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve shop floor issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
• Three years of experience in automotive or manufacturing quality
• Working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC)
• Experience in a production or assembly environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt (or currently in progress)
