Senior Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP/PPAP processes for new products and changes to current automotive components (brake fluid, friction material, bars, terminals, shock absorbers).
• Act as the primary technical contact for suppliers regarding projects, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure supplier performance meets ZF requirements and monitor quality indicators.
• Analyze customer non-conformities and coordinate internal meetings to develop effective solutions.
• Plan and execute technical audits and site visits at supplier facilities.
• Support internal teams with the review of relevant technical documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Production, Mechanical, or Mechatronics).
• Advanced or fluent English proficiency.
• Proven experience within the automotive or auto parts industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISO9001 standards (IATF knowledge is highly desirable).
• Hands-on experience with VDA 6.3 audits and PPAP approval processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or formal training in project and process management.
• Specific experience working with clutches or brake pads.
• Certified Lead Auditor qualification.
