Senior Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modular, extensible, and reusable test automation frameworks to enable continuous testing in an agile environment.
• Write moderate to complex code and scripts to test systems and support enterprise-scale data transformation and modernization.
• Act as a quality advocate throughout the project lifecycle, conducting root cause analysis of post-production issues to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with Delivery Leads, Product Owners, and BSAs to plan milestones, determine team roadmaps, and provide project status updates.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to team members, facilitating communication and motivating the team to achieve shared goals.
• Develop coding standards, enhance existing testing frameworks, and research new testing methodologies to complement the technical stack.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of Quality Engineering experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Javascript, or Java.
• Extensive experience with API testing.
• Experience testing large-scale data transformations and migrations at an enterprise level.
• Experience working with customer data and systems, preferably within a Mainframe environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
