Senior Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Embed robust testing strategies and automation practices to uphold software reliability, performance, and security
• Shape and expand test automation infrastructure and develop automation scripts and suites
• Enhance continuous integration (CI) systems
• Explore non-functional testing areas including accessibility, performance, and security
• Design automated test cases and troubleshoot issues within a product operating model
• Lead go/no-Go decisions for releases

Requirements

• 6+ years in enterprise QA roles
• Direct experience in automation testing for mobile and mobile back-end APIs
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in mobile app automation, cross-browser testing, and container technologies
• Experience writing native mobile automation (XCUI and/or Espresso)
• Experience with BDD, CI, Git, and cloud platforms like AWS
• Knowledge of mobile network debugging tools such as Proxyman or Charles
• Experience with accessibility testing and mobile security best practices
• Ability to lead small QA teams and mentor testers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with scripting languages
• Familiarity with mobile OS differences, UI guidelines, and platform-specific behavior
• Understanding of mobile testing challenges like backwards compatibility, caching, and battery usage
