Senior Quality Engineer Propulsion

Responsibilities

• Monitor the entire production cycle of propulsion parts and subsequent assembly
• Plan and execute quality control activities and evaluate nonconformities
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure technical standards are met
• Oversee production and engineering processes, including tool and material usage
• Create quality and safety documentation
• Plan and organize regular product inspections and manage internal audits
• Prepare quality control plans and review documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve product quality and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• University degree in engineering or a related field
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Quality Management and Compliance within Aviation & Aerospace
• Experience in statistical quality control methods in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in cause-effect analysis and problem-solving (5 Why, 8D, Ishikawa)
• Knowledge of APQP processes is preferable
• Knowledge of AS 9100:2016 and ISO 9001:2015
• Internal Auditor certification
• Fluency in English and German
